Since 2009 the nation of Haiti has been a topic of discussion and on the hearts of the Bain family. Our daughter Haley was 8 years old when We attended a kids church conference called the Ramp. While there, the leader was asking the kids to ask God what

country or nation he wanted them to pray. They had a globe in front and a young girl put her hands on Haiti and begain to pray earnestly for the People of Haiti. During this prayer Haley's heart was pricked for this beautiful place.
Then as History tells in 2010 a massive earthquake hit the island and killed thousands of people. As I was watching the news about the earth quake Haley stopped what she was doing and begain to weep. She came to me with tears and said " momma, I have to go pray on the
Land of Haiti to help the people" so of course I said absolutely
we have prayed about when to take her to Haiti and God as opened a door for us to go this spring!
My husband and I Co- Lead a ministry in Louisville with Travis and Kathleen Grimes, called Awakening Church. When we met the Grimes family we connected immediately, because we all burn to see Louisville be a resting place for the Presence of God, we desire to Host His presence night and day until he returns. As it turns out they too burn to see Haiti set a blaze for Jesus! Kathleen is from Haiti and Travis dreams of being a missionary there As well!
This spring the leadership team and our interns from Awakening School of Ministry, have the opportunity to go to Haiti. We look forward to shareing the love of God by meeting physical needs as well as those of the spirit. We will be feeding children, taking food and supplies, ministering in the streets as well as helping encourage thru preaching and teaching at a conference designed to help the pastors and leaders that are in the trenches there. This is a God dream come true for Haley and our whole family. We are excited to embark on this adventure with Jesus and see Him get His reward in Haiti.
Our whole family will be going which includes my husband Ryan and my children Trenton, Cameron, Haley and Brady. The cost is approximatley $1200 per person. We are believing God will supply all of our needs according to His riches in Glory in Christ Jesus, we would love for you to be blessed by God and partner with us in this endevor by giveing your support thru prayer and finances.
