Dear Friends and Supporters,
as we all know live is beautiful, and I think so till summer 2014 and I hope now also, but sometimes now is very hard to believe, that good things are possible.
My story had a many reasons, but now I 'm fighting for my life.
I 'm 43 years old I have two wonderful children ( boy age 11 and girl 8 ) and a wife . They are the reason, why I'm fighting and, why I'm not giving up.
In August of this year, I learned - I have a tongue cancer, stage 3, agressive and and rapidly progressive.
On September 8, I had surgery, now I have started chemotherapy and I visited the irradiation, which will last until the end of November, a total of 32 times.
After the operation, I have to learn again to eat and talk. It picked up quite a lot of time, especially now that the worst phase will begin during the irradiation.
It's all OK , I'm ready to fight and survive , and then to help others do the same.
Misfortune is that I am left without any financial resources.
It's a very long story , but before 2008, I had a good business and faith that this will continue.
Then we had in Latvia unemployment of 25%, bankruptcies and fall of GDP - 30%. It all led to in a massive emigration.
Everything ended up being that I went to work in Germany, to maintain my family.
In the summer of this year I have started to fiel health concerns. In August, I took a month leave, to visit the doctors, which I know in Latvia.
When I learned about the cancer, then I informed my employer.
Since I was insured, I submitted the documents in Germany krankenkasse for sickness allowance.
Then it became clear that the employer has unlawfully released me in August. He have not to pay the last month of insurance, and Krankenkasse in Germany was refused sickness allowance for me.
At the moment not Germany, not Latvia not pay me any allowance.
Money for living I have to find myself . Of course, I have to go to court, but now I should be treated and recover health.
Money needed for food, for medicine, for clothing for the winter. Until now I was the one who kept the family . now ....
I very much hope that I will be able to survive and get back to work after a year, at the new workplace.
But until then I have to rely on hope.
