Hi, my name is Brittney.
I've been teaching in Haiti for three years. Lucy is my golden doodle and best buddy. She is one years old and is such a sweet and gentle girl. Two weeks ago, I had to leave Haiti due to the increase of kidnappings, the kidnapping of the 17 missionaries with extremely high ransoms and growing safety issues. Unfortunately laws changed this summer for flying a dog into the United States and I had to leave Lucy in Haiti. The only way for Lucy to come home is by hiring a company to fly her as cargo. This has been very complicated and expensive. The starting cost is $2500. If you are able and willing, I would greatly appreciate your help and prayers to bring Lucy home.
Miraculously I was able to get the CDC approval for Lucy to be allowed into the United States. However it is only good for 4 weeks and then it expires with no extensions allowed. We are quickly approaching 2 weeks already.

- That Lucy can make it safely to the airport in Haiti
