Life can change drastically from one moment to the next. I’m sure that’s been on all of our minds recently after hearing of Michael’s narrow escape from death.
After a long stint in the VGH trauma ward and multiple surgeries, it’s looking like he’s going to make an astonishing recovery. But it’s going to take time. Upwards of a year before he can throw on his tool belt again. While he’s off work, the bills are still going to be coming in.
This fund is to help take Michael’s mind off the financial stresses. With fewer financial burdens, Michael can buy the healthiest food, sleep soundly, and worry less. No doubt this will contribute to a faster recovery. Allowing Michael to get back on his feet, for work and for play.
It will probably be hard for Michael to accept this money. But he’s a hell of a guy, and I know his friends want to support him during this difficult time. So to all of his friends; please give what you can. And Michael, accept it, because you’d do the same for us.
