The Madison Furman Fund

About 3 weeks ago Madison went into the hospital with complications from an infected kidney stone. She ended up going septic-so the infection got in her blood stream and spread everywhere. She was admitted to icu and had surgery to break up the stone. The doctors had trouble keeping her blood pressure and breathing stable, and she had fluid in her lungs. At one point they told her family she had a 10% chance of living. Over a week later Madison has pulled through! She is off her oxygen and out of icu. There is still infection around her kidney and she is holding a pretty good fever still. The doctors are trying to wait out the infection before they take the next step of draining her kidney or possibly removing it. Madison has come a long, long way. But she has been in the hospital and icu for quite some time now, and she still has more to go. As we all know times like this can be really tough and very stressful!! With every passing day the monthly bills continue to come in and the medical bills continue to mount up. This is our chance to help out someone who has helped so many others.
