Gryphon National Championship Fund

We need your help to get to the Canadian University/College Championships in Chilliwack, B.C., this May.

We are the University of Guelph men's golf team. We are a great team--see below--and we're determined to finish our season strongly and represent the university and the city in the national championships.

We earned our way into the national championship by finishing 4th in the OUA Championship in October--the top five qualfied for nationals. (We also finished 3rd in the overall OUA season points standings, and medalled in five of our seven tournaments. Heck, we're good!)

But we don't have funding from the university and it will cost about $8500 to cover our flights, accommodation and transportation. (We'll cover our food.)

The team members are captain Marc-Anthony Manion, who graduates this year, vice-captain Nick Striker (4th year), Trevor Whiton (4th year), Mathew Stevens (1st year), and Matthew Vihant (1st year). The head coach is Tim O'Connor. 

We've earned our way to the Canadian national championship, but we need to your help to get there. Thanks for your consideration and your generousity.
