DONATE TOWARDS FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

Tony Helms passed away Tuesday January 25th after his battle with lung cancer and acute leukemia. The funeral will take place Friday January 28th. Visitation will be held from 1-2 and the service will be at 2pm at the Wright family funeral home in Headland. Tony will be laid to rest at Madrid city cemetery beside his grandmother and his mothers ashes that Tony recently spread over his grandmothers grave. 

All donations will go toward funeral costs. 

The pandemic has affected many of us in various ways, and  just when we thought times couldn't get any more tough, my father has been diagnosed with stage 3 Lung Cancer and Leukemia at the same time. Unfortunately,  since he began Chemo and Radiation treatments roughly three months ago, he has been unable to work. My father is newly married, and this diagnosis has put a major financial strain on him and his wife, as she is staying home as much as she can to take care of him. I know my dad would never ask for assistance on his own, so I am hoping that by sharing his story, someone may generously give a donation.

 

If you are able, any contribution would make a major difference in my families lives.  All donations will be going towards daily bills, food, living expenses, and most of all, his medical treatments. Any help that can be given would be a blessing. In the meantime, please pray for my family, but most of all, my dad! Thank you so much in advance!
