Hey All!
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and take a look at our page! For those of you who don\'t know me, my name is Danielle Fitzgerald. The reason my boyfriend and I created this page is because we are in desperate need of donations to get my health & life back from a terrible & debilitating illness which has plagued my mind and body for so long! More recently, causing my health to deteriorate very quickly. We now think we may have our answer...Chronic Lyme Disease. However, we desperately need your help with donations! April 5th,we are seeing a Lyme Specialist in MO & the cost is around $1,400 just for the initial visit and blood work. This doesn\'t include any treatment or travel between FL and MO. The treatment for Chronic Lyme is ongoing, VERY expensive, extremely tough on the body and could last quite some time(depending on my body\'s reaction to the treatment) Financially, we are dealing with bills from a recent E.R visit, hospital bills, testing, doctors visits and meds I am on to keep me comfortable. Then there is the upcoming Lyme Specialist visit, tests, treatment, frequent travel to the docs office in MO and with me being unable to work, the monthly bills will be very difficult . As you can see we are completely overwhelmed with medical bills & ANYTHING you are able to donate will help us greatly!

I was once a healthy, out going, free spirited, vibrant, spontaneous, crazy kid who wanted to save every injured and misunderstood animal I could possibly find. In my adult life I got very involved in animal rehabilitation and rescue, especially with dogs and horses. I planned on expanding, eventually opening up a huge training & rehabilitation center for dogs and a rescue for farm animals and wolves. Now, due to my deteriorating health, I have had to put my life, my career and my dreams on hold.
Lately, my days are filled with sleep, pain, and frustration... I am suffering from constant muscle twitching and spasms, seizures, constantly sore and painful neck & shoulder muscles, my heart and lungs are no longer functioning properly, intense headaches, hand tremors, My hair and eye brows are thinning & falling out, constantly swollen & painful lymph nodes, brain fog, the worst sleep insomnia(Thank god for herbal sleeping meds!) blurred vision and pain in & behind my eyes, my short term & long term memory is being severely affected and I am in extreme joint and muscle pain every day of my 26 year old life!
For the past 7 years or so, I saw doctor after doctor after doctor and no one knew what was wrong or what was happening to my body. I was told I had MS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, that I could have multiple cancers, that this was all in my head and more recently that I was possibly in heart failure. Myself, my father and now my boyfriend and his family have spent hundreds and thousands of dollars trying to figure out what was wrong with me and now we are running very low on funds. With my debilitating symptoms, I am unable to work and I can only be physical for a few hours a day(ON MY GOOD DAYS). My boyfriend works part time so that he can be home to help with me. Both our families have been VERY generous and have sent us what they could to help with doctor\'s visits, medication, monthly bills and to keep food on the table. However it\'s not nearly enough for me to go through this difficult and expensive process.
