Vicki's Student Teaching Fund

I am nearing the end of a 3 year journey. Three years ago I unexpectedly became a single mom working 2 jobs, but that still didn't allow me to make my house payment.  I decided to return to school to earn my teaching degree. Starting January 12, 2015 I will begin my student teaching, the last part of my teacher education program.
Student teaching is a full time unpaid internship.  I will have no income from January through May 2015.
I am working hard to become a teacher for the 15-16 school year which will begin in August of 2015.
That means I will not be receiving pay from January to August for a total of 8 months!

Any money donated for my student teaching will go to living expenses such as electricity, heating, water, groceries and gas for my car. I will also need to buy some kind of health insurance because I will be leaving my current job so I can student teach. If any donations remain after the 8 month period, the funds will go directly toward paying my student loans of $21,000.
