Help Jamie with his Medical Bills

Donation protected
Jamie Withouse is a loving father, grandfather, boyfriend, brother, uncle, and a friend to everyone. Most who know him would say that he is kind, hardworking, a bit of a jokester, and a long-winded story teller. To those who have heard of him know that he would drop everything to be there for anyone in need. He has been saved by Christ and has shown the love of Jesus all of his life. He is 55 years young, healthy and strong. On December 5th he began developing symptoms of Covid19. On December 6th he tested positive at home and on December 7th he tested positive at a physician's office. For nearly a week his worst symptoms that he complained of were stomach pain and chills, but on the Sunday after his diagnosis he began feeling extremely ill. On December 13th he went to Phelps Health for a monoclonal infusion and after having a pulse ox reading of 74% he was quickly rushed to the ER where they determined he had severe Covid Pneumonia that had crystalized in both lungs, the right lung being infected the worst. He waited all day in the ER for a bed in Medical ONC where they care for Covid19 patients. After about a week in isolation in Medical ONC and having received the remdezivir infusion he was moved to ICU in isolation. He improved for a few days with use of a bipap machine and tons of medication and was able to have four 15 minute long visits with his daughters through the door each day. On December 22nd he started growing very tired of working so hard to breathe and his oxygen began diminishing. On December 23rd he was removed from isolation and his daughters were able to be in the same room with him, but his oxygen continued to decrease and his respirations increased. On December 24th his oxygen remained in the 60's and 70's while on the bipap machine, when it was determined that he had the best fighting chance to beat this infection if he allowed his body to rest with help from a ventilator. He was defeated by the news, but he still has a lot of fight in him. He knows God is in control of all things, and we have seen God's grace throughout this entire terrible experience. We are praying and expecting God to perform a miracle and to breathe life into Jamie. We believe that this trial is a testing of our faith to produce perseverance so that we may become mature and complete, lacking in nothing (James 1:2-4). We please ask that you lift Jamie up in powerful prayer, fully knowing that God will heal him. We do not turn a blind eye to the astronomical amount of medical bills that increase daily as Jamie is in the hospital, and the bills that will continue to mount up with several weeks to months of physical therapy that he will need following his time on the ventilator. If you are able to we sincerely appreciate any donations you can make to help relieve the financial burden that this virus has caused Jamie. If you are unable to donate we just ask for your prayers on his behalf. We cannot thank you enough for your ongoing support.
