Help me to achieve my educational dream

I'm Sarah. I'm not just a number. A twenty years old, ambitious, gazan girl. I have my own dreams and wishes despite the difficult living situation since childhood, as my family has no source of income other than a cash assistance from the Ministry of Social Development, which is delivered only 4 times a year! In addition to, it was cut off in the recent period.

My family was the first supporter for me and my mother insisted on my university education. She put all her savings to complete it because I excelled in the secondary school where I got a rate of 99% which was the highest rate in that year, but it seems that I will lose my dream because ALL the universities in Gaza Strip and my home completely destroyed.

After the seventh of October, our situation deteriorated for the worse. We live in a tent by the sea in Rafah city like the rest of the displaced. We have no breadwinner, so we live on the few aid that is distributed and it is not nearly enough. Overall, my father and my brother are trapped in Gaza and we do not know anything about them because of the lack of communication. Unfortunately, they are among the unknown, we do not know in any case they are. My mother is an old and sick woman and I can't provide the necessary therapy for her. I had to help her, but for the first time in my life I feel completely helpless.

I hope you, good people of the world, can help me complete my education in Turkey so that I can build a house for my family to live in and be able to support them.

The study of English Translation has been my dream since my early childhood because I want to deliver our message as an oppressed Palestinian people to you, the free people of the world, that we are a people under occupation and we suffer all the time even before the war because we have been under siege for more than 17 years.

Many Ghazawis are deprived of movement, learning and treatment. Despite this, I love life and I want to travel, learn abroad, and become an important and supportive person for the Palestine's cause.

I believe I have abilities and skills to do it and with your help I can continue my education to get my university degree in English Translation in one of istanbul universities in Turkey.

I wish my story becomes inspiring for the rest of the Palestinian girls by not losing hope that there is humanity in this world because we are a people worthy of life.

The money collected in this campaign will fund my evacuation process from Gaza, travel expenses and my first year university tuitions and accommodation:

7000 € I need to pay Egyptian officials to get me the permit to cross for Egypt

600€ flight ticket to turkey

100€ for my staying in Egypt before leaving for Turkey

4000€ the first university tuitions in Turkey
