Service Dog for Gage Coffey

Donation protected
We need a 4 legged Super Hero for Gage Coffey!

We are looking to raise money toward the purchase of a Service Dog for Gage,  a low functioning Autistic 6 year old boy.  Gage is non verbal, which makes simple day to day activities a bit more challenging.  A Service Dog specifically trained to work with children with Autism would provide Gage and his family much needed help.  The dog would assist Gages family by helping Gage get to sleep and stay asleep through special use of pressure.  The dog is also trained to assist in keeping Gage from wandering and comforting him when upset or anxious.
The dog would be trained by Tails for Life, a charitable orginization based in Fond du Lac, WI. , who's mission is to empower children with disabilities to increase their independence and enhance their quality of life.
This hard working family is hoping to offer their child a devoted companion who can comfort, protect and help Gage live a fuller, happier, life.   As you can see by the attached video clip, service dogs can greatly enhance the life of children with Autism, and would help Gage and his family towards living a more normal life.  Everything shown in the video is what is needed in a service dog for Gage.  As you can imagine, training a dog to meet all  Gages needs is a very long, labor intense process.  The family is hoping that they can embark on this life altering journey soon.
Thank you for viewing and considering our cause.
