Susie's Battle to Beat Cancer!

As many of you may have heard, my good friend and fellow Deputy Sheriff, Susie Long was recently diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. Susie is determined to be a SURVIVOR and is battling her illness daily. She is currently receiving Chemotherapy and Radiation regularly. As you can imagine this is becoming a financial burden on her, medical bills are beginning to pile up, and she needs OUR help. Susie is a dedicated public servant to the citizens of Polk County and she has been employed at the Sheriff’s Office for over 10 years.

 

We are currently in the process of coordinating a benefit for Susie, but it will not take place until sometime in December. I will let you know all of the details once they are finalized but in the meantime, this small online fundraiser will help with the incoming bills. If you are able to give please do so, any amount is greatly appreciated! Also, please share this on your social media sites and get the word out. But most importantly, please pray for Susie as she battles Cancer! You can also leave Susie a note/comment on here that she can read daily to help support her!
