Jenn Crouch Cancer Benefit Fund

Jennifer Crouch has spent the last three years battling a courageous fight against Stage 4 Metastatic Colon Cancer. Jennifer was first diagnosed 18 months after her second baby was born, her husband Nathan urged her to see a doctor after not feeling well for sometime. She finally gave in and went to the doctors office. Everything changed that day for the Crouch family. Jennifer was diagnosed with cancer. She immediately put up a fight against cancer. Seeking help and treatment from Sloan Kettering In NYC, and locally at Backus Hospital. Jennifer under went numerous surgeries to remove the cancer from her colon and tumors and lesions that had spread to her liver, as well as other places in her body. She has spent the last three years going to doctor appointments, chemo therapy, and clinical trials. She has continued to fight the fight of cancer, bravely dealing with whatever has come her way.  This past month Jennifer was told that the cancer has stopped responding to treatments. The family weighed their options of continuing other treatments and new clinical trials and they have decided it is best to stop the remaining treatments and to enjoy the rest of Jennifer's life with the love and support surrounding her from her family.  Friends, family and co-workers have joined together to help the Crouch family all they can. We are looking to raise $3000 on gofundme.com to assist in any bills the Crouch family has incurred from her medical treatments, including traveling expenses to and from NYC for her treatments. Nathan is currently home on a FMLOA to help care for Jennifer and their two young children Dylan and Makenzie. Please help this truely amazing women, wife, mother, and friend. She has never given up on life, others, or herself. We can't fight this cancer for her, but we can help her anyway possible. There is also a benefit pasta dinner being held November 14th 2014 from 4pm-8pm in Jewitt City CT at the VFW on Taylor Hill Rd. All are welcome to attend! Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 10. This is family friendly, there will be a dj, henna tattos, face painting, and a large drawing!
