Patti Ramos' Living Expenses

Patti sends her gratitude to everyone who has shared well wishes, food, phone calls and donations. It's been a rough couple of days -- her leg /ankle swelled so it put painful pressure on  the cast. Oh and the purple toe probably didn't help matters. She went to her orthopedic surgeon yesterday and when he took the cast off, here's what her leg looks like. Bear in mind the staples are on both sides of her foot!  (Just in time for Halloween.)[ WHOOPS website took her last photo down saying it was too graphic so current photo should make it past censors ]. 
     Patti has a slight spot of infection so she is now on antibiotics.  A week from now the staples should come out and a new cast comes on.  Not to put too fine a point on it, but oh my goodness, is she ever sick of her couch and the front room. Grateful she has it but sick of it nonetheless.  She hopes to borrow a knee scooter for the next phase of her recovery so if you have a friend who no longer needs theirs, let us know.
