Sophia Cramer Cancer Fund

Little Sophia is 2 years old and battling Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma, a disease in which malignant cancer cells form in muscle tissue.

Rhabdomyosarcoma is a type of sarcoma. Sarcoma is cancer of soft tissue (such as muscle), connective tissue (such as tendon or cartilage), or bone. Rhabdomyosarcoma usually begins in muscles that are attached to bones and that help the body move.

Sophia has undergone surgery to remove the tumor and it has been assesed at Stage 3 Group 2.  For this, her treatment will consist of weekly chemo treatments for up to a year alongside abdomial radiation.

The  family is facing severe financial hardship as medical bills and the cost of traveling an hour and half for treatments mount.  The medicine is taking a harsh toll on fragile Sophia so her mom has chosen to take a leave from work to provide the best care to her daughter.  They also have a young son at home.

Friends of the Cramer family have created this page in the hopes that financial relief will give them some peace to better direct their energies towards the healing of their little girl.  Thank you for reading their story.
