No Place Like Home
Fellow friends and community members - This is OUR chance to give back to someone that has done so much for individuals, groups, and causes in our community.
This is a tough year for many. LAURA ADAMS is now homeless. This extreme
stressor is negatively affecting both her physical and mental health.
For those of us that personally know and care about Laura Adams - we know what a cool person she is. We KNOW how much good she has done within our community.
Even though she is a smart, resourceful, self-reliant person ... and despite her enormous and repeated efforts to avoid being in this difficult position, she has hit a variety of barriers and setbacks. Though our community has systems in place to aid people in Laura's situation, she is still falling through the cracks.
She has less than 10 days (Dec 31) to get temporary or long-term housing.
I personally do not want her to go to a shelter again. It puts her at high risk, nor solves her need for safe and affordable housing.
PLEASE HELP now with any amount to
1) ensure that she can get into a safe, affordable housing situation;
2) pay for continued storage facility fees for her possessions until that happens;
3) assist with some basic incidentals.
Let's help this wonderful person who helps so many others, in HER time of need!
