Welcome to the Fusion fundraising page! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit.
While we were fortunate enough to make it through 2020, with very generous support from friends, family and extended community, 2021 has posed its own challenges.
We negotiated a very favorable lease until January 2024, and one of the conditions that swayed the landlord was a significant rent increase starting January 1, 2022. Fusion was set to weather the COVID storm and come out stronger for it, but no one knew the Delta Variant was lurking. We had a lot of inquiries and new students in 2021, but as it became apparent it was not safe to return to normal life, people once again backed off of group activities.
We are hanging on with our core group of diehard students (and a few new ones!) but the rent increase in January will set us clearly in the negative and we will be in danger of defaulting on our lease.
Will you help us get through 2022? Any amount is greatly appreciated and will go directly into operating expenses, insurance and utilities. It is my sincerest hope that this will be the last fundraiser we will ever have to do.
