Funeral for Enrique Duran Perez

On March 19th, my grandfather, Enrique Duran Perez was found murdered in his home in Mexico. Not only was he shot multiple times and left to die, but the person or people who committed this horrific crime proceeded to steal everything of value from the property including his beloved John Deere tractor. My grandparents have worked tirelessly their whole life to provide a good life for our family. Thus, after retiring, it was his dream to return to Mexico to take care of his mother and father as well as to tend the land that was once his grandfather’s.


Anyone who met my grandfather knew that he was a devoted family man as well as a dear friend to many. He was full of energy and life and he had the power to make anybody laugh - whether it was at his jokes or his singing.His generosity extended so far that he would be willing to give someone in need the last dollar in his pocket.
