In memory of Olufemi James Ogungbayi : Funeral support

I am Jessicca Ogungbayi, the wife of Mr. Olufemi James Ogungbayi. He departed this life very unexpectedly in the early hours of March 9, 2025, at the age of 54.

This page is being formed to contribute to the cost of funeral expenses at this time.

Mr. Ogungbayi hailed from Egosi-Ile, Oke-Ero Local Government Area, Kwara State, Nigeria, and resided in Electra, Texas, USA. He was a devoted Christian who loved God deeply and lived his life in service to his faith and community. He was known for his unwavering dedication, humility, and kindness.

He served diligently as a Correctional Officer at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where he was respected for his integrity, discipline, and commitment to his duties.

Mr. Ogungbayi is survived by his beloved wife, Jessicca Ogungbayi, who is expecting their first child very soon, as well as extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life of faith, service, and love—a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

The funeral services will be held March 31, 2025, 6pm CT at Ainsworth & Young Funeral Home and will be live-streamed on Zoom.

It is a very sensitive and difficult time.
