Funeral Services for Gregory “Butter” Alston
Donation protected
Our Father, Gregory "Butter" Alston was killed on Saturday, November 16, 2019 due to a tragic single-vehicle accident. Gregory was catching a ride to the store, when the driver of the 2005 Ford Focus ran off the left side of the road. Police said he overcorrected, spun 180 degrees, slid a long distance and came to a rest when the rear left corner of the vehicle struck a bridge column. Gregory "Butter" Alston, 53, of Durham, N.C. was the left rear passenger in that vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Due to his unexpected death and the absence of a life insurance policy, we have been forced to raise funds for a proper burial. Unfortunately, we need $3,800 by Thursday, November 21, 2019 as a down payment for the Funeral Home to proceed with services. All proceeds and profits will go towards preparation of his body, transportion of his body and the family, the casket, the vault and the opening/closing of the grave. If you can find it in your heart to be blessing to My Father and Our Family at this difficult time-- No donation is too small or too big. The family appreciates you all in advance for your consideration and donations!
