Duane A. Quamina, II was a loving son and father of two small children Kimoni and Duane III.
He lost his life to a senseless act of gun violence. The perpetrator is a young man only 24 years of age. The police know who the perpetrator is and will have him in custody soon, if not already.
Duane had no enemies and was loved by so many of his peers. This unprovoked act of violent made no sense.
Now, two young black men life is destroyed for nothing. The violence in our communities across this nation has reached epidemic status and has got to stop.
The NRA should set up a funeral expense fund. The NRA's party line is it is people who kill people not guns. Well the truth is it is people and guns who kill people all to often in America.
