As many of you know Terry sadly lost her battle with cancer on 20th April at 6.30am , she leaves behind 4 loving sons Michael, sooty, Ryan and ginger (jonathon) and 9 grandchildren, Terry also sadly lost her son Peter in 2018 another thing no mother should have to go through .
On September 2nd 2019 Terry got told she had bowel cancer she had an operation to have a colostomy bag fitted which went well but like any woman this was the worst thing to have but she got on with it she then had to had a few rounds of chemotherapy, her last chemotherapy was 7 weeks ago where the Drs said they would operate to remove the cancer and reverse the bag, but when they went to remove it they found the cancer had spread, Terry had to spend the last 5 weeks of her life in hospital. A few days after the failed operation Terry had phenominia which she then started to struggle to breathe she had oxygen to help her but things got worse, with these uncertain times visits had to be shortened her son's wernt allowed to visit as much as they could, as weeks went by Terry sadly deteriated but kept fighting with all she had, her son ginger (jonathon) did all he could to bring her home, the bed got delivered and so did the oxygen for then to be told his mother had now been tested positive for covid-19 so another set back! She was due to come home the day she sadly passed away, ginger received the phone call he was least expecting on Sunday 19th April to go and say goodbye to his queen both himself and Ryan went to her bedside where they had to have masks, gloves and aprons on and couldn't say goodbye the way they wanted it's not the way anyone wants to say goodbye to there hero the woman that bought each and every one of them up single handed!
As we all know times are really hard right now and the boys didn't expect things to go this way, im asking if all her friends and family can kindly help take the financial strain off them and help pay towards the funeral, it's not something she deserves a funeral with a maximum of 10 people! So ginger had decided when we are all safe to go out Terry's ashes will be taken to place for a gathering and will have the funeral she deserves where each and everyone of you can share your most precious memories of Terry, the times she made you laugh, the times she helped you in your little way! This woman was a friend, a fighter, a legend and very special mother and grandmother! So please even if it's just a little, every little helps. R.I.P beautiful lady gone but NEVER forgotten xxx
