Joshua Russell Miller

Joshua R. Miller has left a truly TALL legacy. He has not only been a friend to all, but is also known as a Protector, Provider, Artist and Comedian. Always, willing to give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need and consistently strived to make everyone laugh.
The only Son to Cindy A. Miller, Joshua faithfully spent his life at her side and rightly described her as “Amazing,” and she describes him as her “Very Best Friend, Heart, Soul and Life.”
Tenderly known as, “Big Boy” by his remaining Grandfather, Vern R. Miller, whom will surely continue in sharing Joshua’s many memories with us.
He has been a wonderful Grandson, Great Grandson, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend, all of which have expanded in number that could create a book of his own, nevertheless, his love for them all on an individual basis is beyond measure.
Joining us all in our sorrow, Joshua’s chosen Sister, Jessica Montgomery-Mims, whom he took part in all of her life milestones as her loyal Brother.
Joshua will be forever cherished by his Companion and True Love, Jennifer Belcher, whom he called his “Angel” and she will continue loving him as her “Diamond” and promises to one day, dance with him in heaven.
Abiding in gratitude for his honorable role as a Father to Racquel Slusher, whom Joshua always expressed that he “loves very much” and boldly claimed, “She is MY daughter.”
Greeting Joshua in heaven, his beloved Grandmother, Rita Miller; Father, Scott Miller; and childhood Best Friend, Nick Velis, whom he missed dearly while on earth.
We all presently look forward to reuniting with Joshua and know that he surely rests with no more pain. We are also so thankful that many witnessed Joshua’s confirmed belief during his baptism on 7/7/17 alongside his self-titled “Daughter,” Racquel, who was also baptized as they shared in their faith in Jesus Christ.
Although, none will be able to stand as tall as he has, we will do our best to continue Joshua’s work here on earth. Always remembering to look up to Joshua’s legacy as well as his biblical namesake and honor him in all that we do.
