Funeral for Candelaria Navarro

I have been blessed to have known and been loved by Candelaria Navarro. She loved me as her own and treated me as her own…even when it came to being yelled at for doing stupid things. Sometimes in life we get two moms, I was truly blessed. Candelaria
was such a hard worker, she worked for Polytex Fiber and then always made it home to cook dinner for her family. Spending time with her girls Rosie Cortez, Stephanie Cortez and be best friends to her husband Luis Cortez was always her first job. As I was growing up I spent many of nights and weekends being that 3rd daughter, learning to speak Spanish and having Candelarie laugh at me when I couldn’t say it right or just laughed at me when I did.
I looked for the right word to describe Candelaria and all I could think was LOVE, pure LOVE. The definition of love is “an intense feeling of deep affection” and I truly couldn’t think of a better word for her. She has always showed an intense feeling of deep affection for those closest to her. Now it is time for me to pay her back for the LOVE she has shown me.
I am asking for help for Candelaria and her family.
Candelaria F Navarro was born February 02, 1965 in Ciudad de Juarez Mexico Chihuahua and spent her life working and raising a family here in Houston, Texas. She was diagnosed with Ileum and metastasis tumor on the liver in December 2016. With operations, treatments and multiple long stays in multiple hospitals she was sent home this week from MD Anderson with hospice care. The entire family has been devastated, as any family you pray for a miracle. Unfortunately Candelaria did not have life insurance and the family is in despite need of funding for her funeral. It is with a heavy heart that I ask for your help, any amount, small or large.
