Funeral fund for Tony Ryan

I want to start off my introducing myself. My name is Shantel Darley, Tony's step daughter.

Tony has dedicated his life to helping people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
For years and years Tony volunteered his time to run AA meetings to save the lives of others. He took addicts off the streets, opened his home upto them in the hope they'd turn their lives around! He didn't help people for money or expected anything in return, he did it because that's just the type of man he is & he knew that it was the right thing to do. One very special person in particular Tony saved was my mother. She was in a very dark time in her life as she had just lost custody of my 3 siblings and I. She had also suffered years of domestic violence from my then, stepfather when her angel Tony was sent to her. It was a long bumpy road for both mum and Tony, but Mum recovered from severe drug addiction with guidance and support from Tony.
Soon after their romance blossomed. They went on to have two beautiful boys, Kuya now aged 14 & nullegai 11.
Tony was also well involved with his indigenous people & culture. Whether it was public speaking, performing or teaching he took pride in his heritage & did it with a passion. He wanted people to know about his culture. He even taught my 3 year old son how to play the didgeridoo.. A very proud poppy he was :)

In July 2017 the unimaginable happened. Tony was diagnosed with an aggressive incurable cancer. There was nothing doctors could do to prolong his life.. Tony was given 3-6 months to live.
He has spent the last couple of months in & out of palliative care. Today we received the devastating news that he only has days. The cancer has taken over his body. He is in agonising pain, can no longer walk & is loosing his memory. It's so heartbreaking knowing that my two little brothers will grow up without their dad.

Due to the sudden diagnoses & lack of funds, we were hoping that by starting this campaign we'd help ease the burden of his funeral expenses & give Tony the send off he truly deserves.

Any leftover money will be put into an account for my brothers for schooling, clothing, furniture, Christmas & necessities they may need.

A donation big or small  will be greatly appreciated. Please help me make this happen!

Today 24.10.2017 Tony grew his wings. He fought until the very end. He's now with his people, his ancestors. Look over us Angel
R.I.P Tony Ryan Always loved, never forgotten.
