Funeral & Transition Expenses for Noe Ortiz

Donation protected
My name is Oscar Ortiz, and I’m proud to say that I’m the son of Noe Ortiz. I started this campaign to help my family collect some funds to give my father a proper funeral and aid my mom with any transition expenses. Noe was a kind, humble, strong willed and humorous person. A loving father, a great husband, a hard worker and overall an amazing human being. He was loved by many and touched the lives of hundreds of people with his amazing personality and loving nature. A man who would always put the time and effort to make sure that everyone he interacted with knew that he appreciated them and that they mattered. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital on the morning of April 9th, 2020 and he fought for nearly two months with COVID-19 and the complications that came along with it. After a hard fought battle he passed away in the morning of June 6th, 2020. In the shape that the world is currently in, his loss feels collectively unbearable. My father worked at the Adagio Condominium for the last 11 years. He considered many of the residents to be friends and was beloved by the staff and residents. He was a hard working man who always did his job with love and dedication. I swear everywhere he went, no matter the length of time or location, there were only positive things that would be said about him. A man who was able to light up a room with his presence and always brought a smile to the face of anyone he interacted with. His smile and sweet nature was incomparable. Papi was an amazing father and I will carry every lesson and memory I received from him in every step of my life moving forward. Papi did everything he could in his life to help me further my education and help my mom and I live comfortably and had all the resources we could possibly need. He always put his family and friends first and I would like to repay that hard work, dedication and sacrifice by giving him the proper ceremony he deserves. To my mother and I he meant, and will continue to mean, the world. My father might have at times been the smallest guy in the room but his presence and personality made him the biggest. My mother and I will be in charge of final expenses and due to the pandemic and job shortages we have been falling a bit short on financial resources. All funding will go to helping us give my father a proper funeral and help with any other transition expenses and medical expenses left behind. We will have to make the decision of what type of ceremony we would like to l have in the upcoming days. We recognize that times are uncertain financially for many right now. All donations are appreciated, no matter the size. If all you can give is a memory or a condolence, please feel free to share it here as well. May God Bless all those who decide to help. Papi, you truly were the best and I hope to make you proud in the man I become. You were adored by so many and will be missed by so many. Rest easy, Noe Ortiz.
