It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved friend, Mr. Colson Everett. He passed away on January 6, 2021, after being treated in the hospital.
Everett was the husband of our dear sister, Genet, and a treasured member of our community. He had a generous heart and selflessly dedicated hundreds of hours to maintaining and renovating the Eritrean community center in Oakland, California.
We have started a fund to help his loved ones with any medical, funeral, or other expenses that may arise. Any support that you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
