Memorial Fund For Juan Jaime

Donation protected
Juan Jaime was a family man with a wonderful heart and the kindest demeanor. He worked harder than anyone we know and did so tirelessly until the day his body said no more. Juan only missed one day of work in four years at Grace Rose Farm and that was to watch one of his boys graduate middle school.

Juan was always the first to be at our farm in the morning and the last to leave. He was proud of his work and took pride in his many years of experience and knowledge. Juan was a leader at Grace Rose Farm and was always willing to teach someone how to do something. I’m sure there were many times Juan would watch us attempt to fix something, knowing we would soon be asking for his help. There wasn’t a problem or task to which he didn’t know an answer and we will always remember him as a real-life MacGyver. It was truly impressive to watch him work and problem-solve.

He was kind, quiet, gentle, and loving. He enjoyed spending time with his family on the weekends and would share his fishing and camping stories with us on Mondays. Juan loved life and was the type to always be on the go.

Juan was the most dependable person who never said no. He would come to the farm to check on the roses in the middle of the night when frost was a threat and he’d stay late to keep them cool in the summer by washing them down. He removed many snakes from our farm and always did everything with a smile.

Juan and his family are our family and are a large part of Grace Rose Farm. His wife, Dolores, worked with us for three years and was Seraphina’s nanny for the first year of her life. His oldest son, Dan, worked with us for four years and was our production manager. Recently, Dolores had to quit her job to help care for Juan and Dan has been by his dad’s side taking him to doctor appointments and translating for his father since January.

We kindly ask that if you are able, please contribute to this GoFundMe, as it will help Juan’s family give him a proper memorial service. Juan was a man of virtue that you can give generously and confidently to in order to see him laid to rest. Thank you for your kindness.

Juan’s family is planning a service at Saint Louis de Montfort Church in Orcutt, CA. Details will be shared once finalized.

All donations will go directly to the Jaime family to pay for Juan’s memorial and to help keep their household going until Dolores and Dan return to work.
