Dear Friends and Family,

It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the passing of Uli Mason Chavez for the Chavez, Guerrero, and Taksas families. Like so many during this time, we are all devastated. Maybe many months ago we thought it could never happen to us, to someone we loved. But here we are.

 

Mason brightened the lives of so many with his smile, laugh, sense of humor, and selfless means of carrying himself. For those of you that knew him, you knew that he was the life and soul of the party. There's was no such thing as a bad time when Mason was there. He was so rare. Heaven truly gained an angel to be reckoned with — in the best way. 

 

As you can imagine, our family was not at all prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a proper funeral service and burial. That is why I, his sister Haley Taksas, am reaching out to you all in hopes that you’ll show your support for Mason. Every donation will get us closer to lay Uli Mason Chavez to rest peacefully.

 

Thank you so much for even considering to donate and for taking the time to read about the amazing Mason. He was filled with nothing but pure love and joy. He will forever be missed, as he was a loving brother, son, and friend.
