Funeral for Rick Westerhold

After battling through two bouts of cancer, stem cell transplant, and numerous other hospital stays, on November 2, 2020 , my father, loving grandfather, devoted husband and eldest brother, Rick Westerhold, was called to be with God in heaven. While he was not the wealthiest man, he was rich in the love and friendship that he showed to and received from those he cared about around the world. 

After his first successful fight against lymphoma hindered his ability to continue to work, he found his calling as a volunteer. He volunteered countless hours as a care assistant at St. Luke's Hospital, to his church and faith, as well as hosting exchange students from France, Italy, Germany, and Spain.

When he wasn't giving his time to others and in the last few years of his life, he was spending it on the phone or visiting with his 4 grandchildren, Marie, Julian, Scarlett, and Jamisen, which he loved dearly.  

I am doing this GoFundMe page to help his widow Michele Brady-Westerhold with medical and funeral costs.  At this time I do not know how much it will cost but anything will help. If there are any funds left over they it will be place in a trust for his 4 grandchildren.
