Funeral for our little sister Theresa Karlak

Donation protected
We are trying to raise funds for our little sister Theresa Karlak's funeral expenses.

Theresa was only 18, she was taking a walk on the evening of New Years day with her little sister Emily, when she was fatally struck by a car traveling in the wrong lane. Its hard finding the words to talk about her right now. There are no words to describe the pain we are feeling at the loss of our sweetest angel who was taken too soon from us.

She had the biggest dreams, she wanted to be a veterinarian because she loved animals, she wanted to travel the world and to one day move to Japan, she wanted to go to college and she worked 3 jobs to save money so she could go. Too many dreams she will never get to realize.

To our littlest Tiny T we love you so much. There is nothing in this world we wouldn't give to see you one more time and tell you how much we love you.

We would like to share a memory that her friend Ally posted about her to share the type of person that she was and the impact she had on everyone she met.

Theresa was truly an angel on earth. She had this beautiful glow to her skin, a constant twinkle in her eye, every time she smiled everyone around her couldn’t help but smile too. She had this perfection to her, that I still can’t wrap my head around. She was kind, thoughtful, talented, selfless, and I’ve never seen that smile crack from her face. I watched Theresa blossom during her career at tops. She started a bit shy but it surely didn’t take long for her to become friends with nearly every single employee we have. There wasn’t a day she didn’t come in with a smile and walk out with a smile, she greeted everybody when she walked in for her shifts and everybody loved when they got to work a shift with her. She brought this light to my life. A light that I will cherish and hold onto for the rest of my time here. We quickly became close after I decided I would help her overcome her fear of using the speaker at work, very quickly we bonded, just like she did with anybody else. It was so easy to love her and want to be her friend. To add to her perfections, she was an amazing artist, she would doodle all day and manage to create these masterpieces. She would always take the time out of her day to make me a “dress” for my pen cap, or paper rings & her very own doodles (even though most of the ones she gave me were the silly ones lol) she had this amazing sense of humor. If you were having a bad day Theresa would be there poking your shoulder and jumping to the other side to make you laugh. Or telling you a funny story to get your mind of things. She was just the kind of person anybody needs in their life. She would make the grumpiest customers smile at work, she just had this unique quirky charm to her that I think nobody else has. She was overall one of the best people I ever got to meet. She touched so many lives here in Albion just by waking everyday and being Theresa. She will be forever missed and my deepest condolences are with her mother, siblings and family during this time. I also found this quote that describes her.. “there are some who bring a light so great, that even after they are gone, the light remains.” Because that was her she was a light that continues to shine. One that most here in Albion have been touched with and I truly believe it will stick. She made the whole town a bit happier.
