Funeral for Navy Cancer Fighter

Donation protected
On November 25, 2017, my dad, Paul Zach, passed away peacefully and won his battle with a rare bone cancer, Myelofibrosis.

My dad was an 18-year Navy man, married to my mom for 33 years, and raised three kids on great morals and work ethic. My dad fought each and every day with a smile on his face and was always able to crack a joke to make others feel better and more at ease. He never wanted anyone to pity him, and only strived to get a better quality of life.

With death comes the large financial load on my family, and my dad’s number one priority was that his family would be financially stable. My dad’s sole source of insurance was the VA, and they are only able to provide very minimal assistance in regards to the funeral and burial. He was also my mom’s main caregiver, and as his children, we have taken on the responsibility of taking care of my mom. My mom doesn’t have any source of insurance or income so all of her medicine and medical costs will come out of pocket. I ask that if you are able to donate any amount of money my family would greatly appreciate it.

If you are unable to donate monetary, there are others ways to make an impact not only for my family but others in need. You can donate blood at your local blood banks (Redcrossblood.org ), but you can also register to the National Bone Marrow Registry (Bethematch.org ) and possibly be a match to save a life.
