Funeral for Jason Singh Grewal

Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out to the community for help on behalf of grieving mother of only child Jason Grewal who tragically passed away on Tuesday, September 27 at very young age of 28.

Jason’s mother Rano Dhaliwal came to Canada in 1994 at age 37 as an immigrant to raise her only son as a single mother. While working two labour jobs day and night to give her son a better life; during this time she did not get the opportunity to learn English or learn to drive.

Every day she spent her life putting her sons happiness and needs above hers. Whether that would be making sure he had a roof over his head or food on the table and always making sure her son had everything he needed to succeed in life.

Jason was the one constant in his mothers life and without him, she is struggling to support herself.

We are absolutely devastated by Jason’s untimely passing and appreciate any help covering the cost of the service. Jason’s mother and the whole family was not prepared for this untimely death and the cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time we are reaching out to the community for help.

The funeral service will be held at Country Hills Crematorium, on 11995 16 ST NE Calgary, AB T3K 0S9 on Wednesday, October 5 at 1:00pm.
