Funeral and memorial for Jacob Mulder
Jacob Mulder was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend to so many. He would do absolutely anything to support his family and friends. He had a contagious smile, a kind heart, and a loveable personality.
Jacob, along with his brother, Josh, helped start the Brandon Valley Rats, a South Dakota Amateur baseball team. Jacob was a catcher and an infielder for the team. He dedicated every summer to baseball since he was very young. He brought a positive attitude and winning mindset to every game.
Jacob and his wife, Morgan, married in July of 2020, and they are now expecting their first child in November. Jacob would have been an incredible father just as he was an incredible teammate. Morgan can be found at many Rats games during the summer, helping keep book and cheer on her husband and the rest of the players. She always brings a bright smile to every game.
On the morning of June 17th, Jacob was lost in a fatal car accident.
This GoFundMe has been created in remembrance of Jacob, his love for the game of baseball and his family, and his dedication to the team he helped create.
Morgan Mulder will be added as the main beneficiary of the funds raised. The funds will help cover funeral expenses, create a memorial in Jacob's name at the field the Rats call home, and help Morgan and the rest of the Mulder family with anything else they may need during these troubling times.
Please send your thoughts and prayers to Jacob’s family, friends, teammates, and all of his loved ones. Thank you for your donation.
