Funeral for Christopher Swauger

My sister lost her 17 year old son and only child to suicide on Thursday, July 26th. She and her husband live in AZ and her family is spread all over the country. We are raising money for funeral services for our beautiful boy Christopher Charles Swauger. Also, we are raising money for travel expenses and suicide awareness. This is devastation for which actual words do not exist. There is no way for me to make this better for my sister and our family. But hopefully, we can raise enough money to lay this exceptionally magnificent soul to rest in a way he deserves, and have as many family members as possible present there. This GFM is telling me to explain what Christopher meant to me. He was the first nephew on my side and our first Godchild. He wore matching outfits with my husband as a baby. My sister changed her entire life, entire self to be the best parent she could to him. And she is. I last saw my nephew at my Sisters wedding in March. He stayed in our hotel room and cemented a lifetime bond with my son (his Brother if you were to ask either of them). He was magical. Loving, creative, inspired, philosophical and hilarious. But while these words are just words to you- they are so much more to us. They are bits of a complex and beautiful spirit we got to witness and love. They are characteristics we watched him develop from the second he was born. They are parts of daily life my sister and brother in law will never get to the chance to observe again.
