Funeral for Beloved Mom, Anatilde
Donation protected
Our mom passed away today. We watched Dementia carve away at her over the past few years to where she was just a shell, a familiar human form that was once Anatilde Kosinski. A neighbor once quipped that if a mountain lion were to walk into our yard she would feed and make a pet of him. Odd thing I know, but that perfectly sums up the loving, compassionate, kind woman that is my mom. She raised us three kids to be the same. A devout Catholic, she was the epitome of living by example. Never showy in her faith but always unwavering. She could be found kneeling and praying the rosary every Sunday in “her” pew – 3 down from the front and to the right in the nave, right by the offertory candles. That is until her mind betrayed her and she forgot the prayers, along with who we were. We would like to give my mom a proper Christian burial, as it is only right but financial circumstances being what they are, and funerals costing what they do, we are reaching out for the kindness of others to aid us in this. Thank you for your time.
