On December 31st, 2020, Rodney and Marlene Rodriguez, husband and wife of 43 years, were involved in a fatal car accident and tragically taken from this world.
Rodney and Marlene were loving parents, grandparents, and incredibly close to their family. They were committed residents to the City of Detroit, well known in their neighborhood, and always had big hearts for helping others.
Rodney was currently on disability while Marlene worked at a city casino. Even with a prosthetic leg, Rodney always made sure to pick Marlene up from work--sadly when the accident occurred.
They will be missed by their family and friends.
I Rudy Garcia (resides in Detroit, MI.), husband of Gloria Garcia who is the daughter of the deceased will submit all of your generous donations to Rodney and Marlene's son and daughter so they can utilize the donations for the funeral and family support expenses.
