Funeral expenses for Rogelio Hernandez
Donation protected
My name is Barbara Chapman and I am a friend and colleague of Reggie Celaya.
On 12/11/20, Reggie lost her beloved husband, Rogelio Hernandez, after an 18-day battle with COVID-19. Nothing could have prepared Reggie for the news of her husband’s death. Reggie was excitedly preparing for his return home when Rogelio’s condition quickly deteriorated. Devastated, his wife and 13-year-old son, Rogelio Jr., face the grim task of making final arrangements for this dear man.
Rogelio was the love of Reggie’s life and, spent 19 wonderful years together. It is impossible to know the depths of this family’s grief. Her savings is completely depleted. My sincere hope is that through this fundraiser, Reggie can find peace knowing that some of the financial burden of Rogelio’s loss will be covered by the generosity of those around her. Nothing will bring back Reggie’s sweet husband, but as a community, I know we can make a difference in her life.
