Funeral Expenses for Ming Gillis

On Christmas Day, we lost an amazing man. Ming Gillis had spent the last  3 months of his life dedicated to the service of others in the wake of Hurricane Florence. He spent every day working with families in Vass who were marginalized, and not receiving the help they needed. He was a primary organizer of food and building materials, facilitated and organized informational seminars on how to apply for FEMA and navigate insurance claims, and even went to bat advocating for this community with State Representatives. The day he passed, he spent the morning giving out bicycles to children in the area who had lost everything in the Hurricane. Ming was truly a selfless champion of the people, and anyone who had the privilege of meeting him could attest to his generous and kind spirit.
Unfortunately, we don't always plan ahead for death. And his family is in need of help funding his funeral. If you or anyone you know were touched by this wonderful man's contributions, please consider donating a small amount to help with his final resting place.
