Funeral Expenses For Mama Tate

Our mom was an amazing woman.She was married to a loving husband for 33 years together with him She raised a Marine, a soldier, and a future police officer. Her joy came from helping others when she could, not just in her line of work as a caretaker for the elderly, but as a friend, mother, wife, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She would always be a phone call away and be there for those that needed her. We can sit here and share her story of how she overcame struggles in life, but we would be here for days talking about it.



On Sept. 11, 2018 she lost her battle to a rare disease known as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.  It has taken a financial toll on us for her care up until now. We thought her funeral expenses were covered, but we learned a few hours ago that the policy had to be in place for 180 days. We’ve only had it in place for 154 days, therefore nothing is covered. We just want a memorial and to be able to put our mom to rest. This happened so sudden and so quick. We don’t know what else to do, but we are hoping that you can help us.
