Funeral expenses for Joseph McGowan Sr

My dad passed away on 12/28/2020  and the burden to pay his final expenses falls on my brother and I alone. He had no survivor benefits, his pension died with him. I'm not one to look for hand outs, but this was completely unexpected and certainly not planned for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 
Cost for cremation and burial is $4800, again, any and all help will be appreciated beyond belief. Thank you in advance.
