Funeral Expenses for John Lee Mushat

John Lee Mushat graced this world with his unique spirit for 37 years. He was truly one of a kind and left an impression on everyone he met. John's personality was replete with dichotomies: sarcastic yet silly, outgoing yet at times reserved, deeply empathetic yet tough as nails, an intrepid explorer with strong ties to his roots, just as likely to discuss transcendentalism as pop culture (sometimes in the same breath). He was and is fiercely loved by those closest to him.

John's presence in our lives simply can not be replaced and his death has left an immense void.  At this time, we would like to help lighten the burden of this crushing loss for John's mother, Linda, by assisting with costs related to transporting John's remains home to Erie, burial, and a memorial service. Any funds raised beyond these expenses will be placed into a college fund for John's nephew, whose education was of crucial importance to John.
