Funeral expenses for Duyane Turner

My dad helped anyone who needed it, he mowed lawn for the elderly, gave baskets of food and stuff for people to get through the hurricanes, he was Santa for Christmas and an Elf on some, he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, he was a great friend, father, boyfriend and all around a great man, a comedian always, he was always worried that we wouldn’t have money in this situation, but never got around to planning for it because it happened so fast. He had no insurance plan for his end of life. So we are needing help with it. I miss the hell out him, I miss his smile, face, his jokes and random comments. He helped so many people in his community. He loved guns, muscle cars and definitely cats, I can’t tell you how many stray cats he’s saved, LOTS!!! He was a light in the darkest room, he was political and one heck of an independent man, he served his country but got injured, when I got older he told me that he and my mom had a dna test done and that I was 100% his “box of awesomeness”, so that became our saying to each other, I was his “box of awesomeness” and he was the “box of awesomeness” that made this “box of awesomeness”. I will miss him as long as I live but we will get to see each other again one day. He has soooo many good friends in his life and their was never a dull moment, he technically didn’t have “friends”, they all were “family” to him and the most important part of his life was family.
