Funeral expenses for COVID-19 victim: Ramon

On Sunday May 31st, 2020 the Vasquez family endured a tremendous loss for the second time in less than 3 months.  Ramon “Ray” Vasquez tested positive for COVID-19 on May 14th and was hospitalized the following day due to complications related to the virus. He was immediately transferred to the Intensive Care Unit at Portneuf Medical Center and spent 2 weeks there. The family is grateful to the staff that cared for their loving father and grandfather.  Ray was 65 years old and he loved spending his time helping people, he was a handy man and loved driving truck during harvest season. Anyone that knew him, knew that he thought the absolute world of his grandkids and was never afraid to show them all the love and admiration in the world! He loved making conversation and never went a moment without smiling. Ray was a humble and welcoming man his love and support were truly unconditional. His favorite pass time with the family was to cook for them, and it must be said that his salsa was not like any other! Ray was extremely loved and admired by all who were fortunate enough to know him, he embodied every glorious aspect of what it is to be a father, grandfather, and husband.  Earlier this year in the beginning of March the Vasquez family lost their mother, and now not even 3 months later they suffer yet another great loss. Due to the circumstances finances are wearing thin so we are seeking aid in any way possible so that this amazing family doesn’t have to have to bear the uneasiness of figuring out finances but rather they can focus all their time on the services for their beloved father and grandfather.
