Funeral expenses for Corbett family for Loks

In loving memory of Lokanath (Lawrence) Anderson

Lokanath was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and son. He was a dedicated and active member of the Hare Krishna community, where he would consistently volunteer every Sunday to clean his local temple. He will be remembered as a hard-working and always welcoming, gentle soul. He was always ready to help his fellow neighbors and could be heard sharing stories that would capture anyone’s ear. He leaves behind his mother Shashikala and father Vatsal, his sister Krishnaya, two brothers Balarama and Srinama, his son Vrindavan  and daughter Ananda, and his only grandson Lucas Gopal and aunts,uncles, nieces and nephews.  

On Saturday, May 1st 2021, Lokanath’s life was tragically cut short as a result of a horrific act of violence. He was murdered by someone he both knew and trusted. The suspect illegally owned a gun which he used to take the life of Lokanath. He was 54 years old. The suspect in question has been arrested and taken into custody by the local authorities. His family prays that he will be brought to justice.

As our family processes this senseless act of violence, We started this GoFundMe as we come to terms with the reality of never seeing him again. We are devastated by this tragedy amidst the ongoing investigations and preparations for his cremation and funeral. Our family will be flying in from various parts of the globe to assist his son and daughter and prepare for Lokanath’s funeral. Anything extra will be donated to his immediate family.
