Funeral expenses for Artem Krolenko

Artem’s family felt unbearable pain after learning that their young son and brother died in a hit-and-run car accident far away from his motherland. He came to the US fleeing the war in Ukraine. Artem became part of the Ukrainian SDA church family here in Sacramento. We knew him as a humble and kind person. He worked and studied to settle his life in a new place. On November 10th, in the evening, while returning home on a bicycle, he was killed by a car that fled the scene of the accident. Artem didn’t manage to create his own family and left this world, leaving behind our church family. Now the greatest desire of the relatives is to say goodbye to Artem for the last time. We, as Artem's friends and church, are organizing this fundraising to help his family cover at least part of the costs of organizing Artem's funeral. Нестерпну біль пережили рідні, дізнавшись, що їх молодий син і брат був збитий автомобілем на смерть далеко від дому у чужій країні. Артем переїхав у США, втікаючи від війни. Він став частиною української адвенистської спільноти в Сакраменто, США. Молодь добре знала його як скромну та добру людину. Артем працював і вчився, щоб влаштувати своє життя на новому місці. Ввечері 10 листопада, повертаючись додому на велосипеді, він і загинув від автомобіля, який втік з місця аварії. Артем так і не встиг створити свою власну сім’ю і покинув цей світ залишивши нашу церковну сім’ю. Зараз великим бажанням рідних є востаннє попрощатися з Артемом. Ми, як друзі та церква Артема, організовуємо цей збір, щоб допомогти сім’ї покрити хоча б частину витрат на організацію поховання Артема.
