Funeral Expenses: Ellie Delorey

Ellie is a Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister and Aunt. 

Ellie has stage 5 renal disease (kidney failure). She has been doing dialysis for the last 7 years. Dialysis causes a strain on the heart.
Just before the New Year, she was admitted into the hospital due to having issues breathing. They found a good amount of fluid around her heart, lungs and stomach. Doctors worked to remove the fluid. Following, they did an EKG to determine how her heart was. That is when they found her heart was very weak. It was performing at 20% (compared a "normal" person working at a minimum of 75% or more). They also found she has a complete blockage in an atery. Original recommendations was that she had a quadriple bypass. Only problem was the kidney failure. It made the surgery impossible to do. 
Difficult decisions had to be made. Doctors recommended that we transition her to comfort care with Hospice. Reality was - if we continue dialysis, it would hurt her heart more, causing death. If we don't continue dialysis, toxins would build up in her body, causing death.
As we worked on making a decision, we knew that she hated dialysis - it hurt her. She would be sick through the next day. It would tax her heart more, making it weaker. We decided on discontinuing dialysis, and transition to comfort care. The goal is to ensure that her last days are her best.
By the way - she is 65 years young. 

Unfortunately, my parents are on a fixed income. She has medicare - which will help.
They do not have life insurance.....

Our goal is to not raise a particular amount of money to help them. It is to help them with expenses that they have now and those that are coming. ANYTHING will be appreciated and we are greatful.

Prayers are also very much needed.
