Update: We have raised enough money to cover the funeral and cemetery expenses thanks to all of you plus an anonymous donation of a casket for which we are so grateful. I have adjusted the goal to also pay for the headstone, if you can help or share this message along that would be appreciated.
Hello extraordinary humans. My name is Destiny. My sister Shawna and I are raising money for the funeral and burial of my sister, Kayla Kemmerling. To give you the backstory, she was killed by the father of the kids on July 9th at her home in Newark. She was a wonderful mother of two and her loss is a tragedy. My family and I are trying to come up with money to provide for Kayla’s funeral and other related expenses. Our goal is to get her buried next to our grandma's grave because that is something she wanted. The problem with that is that it is out of our budget. We are asking for assistance, no matter how big or small; every donation is beyond appreciated. If you can not donate I completely understand but I ask you to please share this message along.
