Funeral Costs for Joel Mendoza

Joel was 33 yrs old when he passed away. He was a native of Charlotte, NC and lived in Concord, NC since the early 90's. Joel passed away unexpectedly early Sunday, 1/15/17 while training for the job he dreamed of, an OTR truck driver. He was less than 1 week from receiving his permanent CDL license.

Joel was my older twin brother by one minute; we shared a certain bond that only twins can understand.

I am creating this campaign in an effort to help my parents bear the costs associated with one of their greatest fears: burying a child. 

All funds raised will be placed directly in the hands of my parents, Rick & Nancy Mendoza. 

Costs associated with the funeral services and burial procedures must be paid in full by this weekend.

A complete breakdown of where your funds will go:
$7400 - funeral arrangements, services and casket
$1750 - cemetery prep and finishing
$350 - travel to Texas and back to claim Joel's personal effects.
